I made these beads at the torch using transparent red and topaz glass, arranging the red beads to one side, and topaz to the other. The focal bead is red glass encased in clear, with fused gold mica on the surface. Handmade glass art from my studio.

I used canes of green, rose and blue glass with encased strands of opaque white to make the beads for this 18-inch necklace. The white strands give the beads a sense of movement. The colors suggest the holidays, but this could be worn anytime.
