Since my son hasn't been able to play our duo mode of #Valheim I started a single player mode and have been playing that over the past week or so.. Here is my awesome Elder base. It was at sea level, so it was perfect for a mote with water in it. :)

Today I kill bonemass in case you were wondering where I'm at in this play through.

Had to add:

sys-kernel/gentoo-kernel-bin ~amd64
virtual/dist-kernel ~amd64
sys-fs/zfs ~amd64
sys-fs/zfs-kmod ~amd64

to /etc/portage/package.accept_keywords just to be able install the really latest kernel in Gentoo.

I think I'm 90% done setting up this thingamajig. Just have to add some packages to make gaming work.

Gonna take a break for now.

It's taking a while to progress through #Valheim because I am co-op playing with my son, and it's hard to get him to play, so when he wont play, I do stuff like build storage units, or explore the map looking for Bonemass, or killing abominations to make masks lol.

We should have completed this game a month ago, yet we are just on Bonemass haha.

In valheim, we have been looking for the stone that shows us where Bonemass is, it is found in the swamp, usually in a crypt.We finally find a swamp,we build a second base just outside the swamp and spend some time exploring, killing and looting crypts. Not a single stone to fine Bonemass. Frustrating.
So next, I use a boat, find another swamp. There are ZERO Crypts lol what are the chances of that. But I found the stone in a stone tower.Bonemass, here we come!
