Creo que no podemos obviar el arte de personas machistas/misóginas/racistas,etc... porque nos quedaríamos sin más de la mitad de la historia cultural. Yo si es gente muerta no tengo problema, lo asimilo, lo acepto a pesar de la decepción. Es nuestro pasado. Con las vivas ya es diferente.

Es un tema delicado. Tú cómo lo llevas, eres capaz de separar a la persona de su arte?

Email update just arrived from the H.P. Lovecraft Historical Society, which I thought I'd pass along:

"So the new year has been off to a tough start around here. If you didn't know, HPLHS Headquarters is in Glendale, California. We're about 12 miles from the Eaton Fire, the one that ravaged the Altadena region of Los Angeles. This is a photo of the smoke taken from the front door of the HPLHS ten days ago.
First and foremost, we're happy to say the HPLHS is ok. Two of us were under evacuation orders but were eventually able to go home and were very happy to have homes to go to. But we have friends and fellow society members who were not so fortunate. Like pretty much everyone in Los Angeles, we're left with a pervasive sense of fear and gratitude.

What Can You Do?

At the moment, we're okay and no one on our team needs immediate assistance. If you you want to help us out, keep our team busy and the wheels of commerce turning by shopping in our fine boutique. We're still working out how to best help our HPLHS friends in need, We'll let you know when our plan is in place. And if you want to help today, you can't go wrong with the American Red Cross or World Central Kitchen - both are on the ground helping folks in need.
For now, take good care of each other. Be kind - that'll help."
