Got home last night and we didn't have any water. There are some people working on the house next door and they turned off both house's waters at the meter. Not sure why it was so confusing which was which, but whatever. We figured it out and had water within 20 minutes.

Pepper's 5th Birthday was yesterday. It was so cold we didn't want to go anywhere, but we picked her up a birthday cookie Saturday when she went to get her bath at the pet store.

Beefy will occasionally lick his paws, (pittie allergies and right now he's got an incision on his right forepaw) but if it's out of sight, like under a pillow or blanket, he'll leave it alone.

We call this "taking his paws away" as in "buddy, if you don't stop licking your paws, I'm gonna have to take them away" (puts pillow between head and paws)
