Yes, I know, I'm obsessed with this song, and I've already talked it up here. But watching the video adds a whole extra level to the experience of listening to it. So much stuff going on in there!

Cannonball was an underground favourite in 1990s Aotearoa, but never a radio hit, so watching the video on music TV was our way in.

Solid work of fiction turned into a generic YA adaptation with generic special effects.
Filmmakers were just trying to get the bare bones of the story without really fleshing any of it out.
Both overstuffed and undercooked. Nicole Kidman is scarier in that Paddington movie. Daniel Craig is barely in this and says Nicole Kidman is scarier in that Paddington movie.

You might want to take a golden shower to wash off the residue after seeing this Compass. A real compass would have pointed you away from this mess.

So on Xmas day we were scrolling #PrimeVideo, and wound up watching a movie I had never heard of. (I think it's an indie.) It was amazing! 👏

The movie is called "The Fare", and presents as a simple time loop story in a cab. It is so much more than that! 😎👏
