I rediscovered this image from several years ago in my meme stash this morning and I've been giggling about it ever since. I realize we shouldn't be laughing about him (but we should be laughing *at* him) but if it makes you smile a little then I think it was worth it. 😃

It's a color photo of a sign being held up (at a protest?) against a gray sky with a few leafless trees showing. The sign is a montage of color headshot photos of three men, each having a short caption at the bottom. A screenshot (one of many in the linked Reddit post) of 4 comments from a Ben Shapiro video where, of course, he puts the entire focus on the "EVIL Revolutionary Left" regarding the murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson. His audience, however, ain't having none of that. They are obviously incensed and loudly calling Shapiro out for his pompous rhetoric of making the issue political instead of what it is: a class war between those that work and those that own & take. Here are the comments in this screenshot but there are many(!) more at the linked Reddit post. They offer a serene and mutual response that clearly shows the US being more united on a subject since 9/11. (I don't have any claim to anything in the Reddit thread. I don't even have a Reddit account lol. So what's everyone doing to mark January 20, 2025, the day US democracy dies? I haven't seen any news about mass protests or marches anywhere. Surely people in the US (or elsewhere) are planning something to show how dissatisfied we are about electing a fascist, right?

I've been suggesting that we all wear black armbands, like they did for funerals back in the day. Any other ideas?
