If you use #NameCheap for anything, another round of "Your Auto-Renewal Payment Didn’t Go Through" phishing emails are hitting inboxes. #infosec
Where they are getting real emails that link up to real domain renewal whois records, esp if you use domain privacy options, I'm not sure. They sent it to a dedicated email account that I use exclusively for Namecheap that shouldn't be in the publicverse.

Having looked a bit closer at it, #Namecheap's #hostedWP may be a better option. I could probably figure out the shared hosting, but that time and effort is better spent elsewhere.
Most of the other WP hosts I've looked at charge a lot for stuff I don't (yet) need. Like up to 50 simultaneous visitors. I'd be stoked if I had 50 visitors in a day, let alone all at once. 
#Wordpress.com is the only other option in my budget. I'm aware of the Mullen-guy's recent shenanigans, though.

I'm looking at Namecheap's shared hosting option, i.e. NOT #wordpress . They do have a WP option, but it's more expensive and more restrictive, from what I can tell.
@eff @TheGuardian The Problem is the #LackOfAccountability and #LackOfConsequences are the problem.
The facts are that #Spamming aka. #ColdMailing is not a #felony in the #USA.
Big #Hosters and #Registrars like #GoDaddy, #NameCheap and #CloudFlare are not just accidentially complicit by stochastic fact that they are Oligopolists in #Hosting and #Domains, but
also actively working against anyone who wants to report #Abuse of their #Services for #illicit and #banned use-cases.
This starts with refusal to process #AbuseReports to literally #doxxing any report to their #clients...
