Another in the long line of well obsolete tech I adore is my love of the #SEGA #Dreamcast VMU cards.

The tech and hardware community being what it is managed some time back to hack them into proper #HandheldGaming machines and each time I search them I find more being done with them!

It isn't easy, but they look amazing - and I'm sure far more dependable than most #SBCGaming handhelds.

#RetroGaming on legit retro devices? Yes plz. Also the #design is pure magic to me (𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘴𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘵)

Got an oddly specific problem. I've been getting into SBC gaming lately, got my own pocket emulator, an anbernic rg35xxh. I even put muOS on it. So far I've been having a grand time with this thing. I love that I can just yank it out of my pocket and boot up some old game. I can play symphony of the night, Kirby and the amazing mirror, chain of memories, Mario land, wario Land, actraiser, shining Force, list goes on. I even get to play ports of PC games thanks to portmaster. But there's a particular genre itch I'm having trouble scratching on this thing.

I'm having a real hard time finding any games that give me Minecraft vibes. You know the type, running around, collecting resources, building your own structures. There's not a lot matching that genre on the portmaster catalog that I've been able to find in the past; there's minetest, but I can't get that running, I think it might be an outdated version or something. Besides, it's pretty clear minetest was not made with controller support in mind, and I do not have a mouse, nor a keyboard, that I can plug into my pocket computer. And even if I did, that would kind of defeat the purpose. It being so small and portable is half the reason I bought this device.

Is anyone have any recommendations for a game that might scratch that Minecraft itch, which I can play on this device? It's got full portmaster support (portmaster isn't working for me right now or I would browse that library myself, instead I have to troubleshoot that and it's looking like a multi-day process) and can handle emulating any home console as recent or older than the Sega Dreamcast, as well as portable consoles as recent or older than the PSP. Any of y'all have any recommendations for games involving digging, building, and optional surviving and crafting, I might be interested in finding a new title to legally obtain and package in a format that my tiny gaming computer can read.
