So, she's finished!
My original plan was to do her as a Japanese figure, but changed my plan into a redhead when I decided to do the octopus as a Pacific Giant Octopus, as the colours would match well.

Some in progress shots as I lay down some flesh tones.
Started with a base of Game Air "Flesh" (72.769), then added highlights of Game Color "Pale Flesh" (72.003), then Game Air "Pale Flesh" (72.703), and then mixed some Army Painter Air "Yeti White" into it for final highlights and the base for the fabric.

Trying a new basing colour. I'm wanting a much colder tone to this model than the usual warm flesh tones I go for, so rather than base in a reddish brown, I've gone for a blue violet.

I sculpted this rounded blue octopus figurine using polymer clay and cocktail sticks/toothpicks and a craft knife. I originally posted it to Instagram on the 30th April 2016 and I've added watermarks where previously there weren't any.
If I sold this triptych of fail figurines, would you get one:
1) musk catches fire suddenly and for no apparent reason
2) musk without oxygen on Mars
3) musk sees the Secret Service turn on him like the Praetorian Guard turned on Caligula

And here is the almost completely assembled #figurine ! The hat is missing because I had to leave while I assembled it. Another shot will come! Promise. Of course during glue up I dropped the body and a part of the arm broke off. Fixed it with ca glue, but it is noticeable and I was quite mad with myself.

I sculpted this spherical red octopus figurine using the polymer clay and tools (a cocktail stick/toothpick and craft knife) in the photo. I originally posted it to Instagram on the 30th April 2016. Watermarks have been added where previously there were none.

Je suis Izoline, créatrice en auto-entreprise. J'utilise principalement de l'argile polymère pour créer des figurines. J'adore les animaux, les insectes, les dinosaures et les créatures fantastiques : on le vois assez bien dans mes créations. Je lis beaucoup, de la fantasy et de la SF et je joue aux jeux vidéos. Je sais pas si il faut le préciser mais je suis turbo de gauche.
Des fois je suis drôle aussi.
