Since gardening updates are slow in the winter sharing a update about a project I am working on which is a crochet rug I am making for my craft/art room. My bf is still sleeping.

I decided to put Cat Stevens on while he was sleeping. We were listening to Alt-J earlier, and I said one of their songs reminded me of Cat Stevens. He said he did not know who it was. This is going to be rectified when he wakes up.

I was talking to a dating prospect of mine while my bf is asleep. (Don't panic. We're polyamorous.) She said she does not know him either. I told her I listened to him a ton when I was a teen and that I had a hippie phase.

I'm going to suggest we watch Hair at supper time.

If you're a super left-leaning hippie like me living in a very non-hippie state and worried about standing in line with a bunch of right-leaning talkative voters when voting, do what I did at early voting today. When the homeless guy comes up to hit up people in line for money, have a nice and friendly chat with him. NO ONE spoke to me after that.

I'm something of a #hippie -- I go #barefoot much of the time, I don't have a smartphone (#NoSmartphone?), I try to "Eat Food, #MostlyPlants, Not Too Much". And I have a deep respect and love of #nature and its systems, even the uncharismatic parts.

I think #FreeSpeech is super important, but that it comes with the responsibility to #BeKind to others in the process.
