Since then, my ambitions have grown. In the future, I also want to re-learn how to sew and make my own clothes and repair them.

These socks were pretty challenging for me to knit 15 years ago, I recall struggling with them back then, but they came out well in the end. Lithuanian 'Amber' socks pattern from Nancy Bush's "Folk Socks" book. Simple worsted 100% wool. Over the yrs they have slightly felted and are very thick, cushiony, and warm. No holes yet!
Nicest socks i ever knit. Think I'll make a new pair this winter in new colors.
