A mesure qu'elle s'élevait au-dessus du littoral de Tarentaise, la lune se rêvait soleil levant. Maurice, paisible érable sycomore de son état, se pencha vers elle pour l'encourager doucement.

As it rose above the Tarentaise coastline, the moon dreamed of the rising sun. Maurice, a peaceful sycamore maple by virtue of his condition, leaned towards her to encourage her gently.

Confortablement installé sur la grève, l'érable regardait le crépuscule prendre ses aises. Les grandes marées d'équinoxe avaient noyé le fjord de Tarentaise, ne laissant émerger que quelques sommets enneigés.

The Black Tower.

Built in the early 13th century, this tower is the only remaining part of the original first wall around Brussels. By the 15th century, it became private property (due to the building of the second fortification, it had long lost its purpose) and is one of the reasons it survived for so long.

In 1937, it became the first protected building in the city. It is notable for being a single medieval tower surrounded by modern-day buildings and thus has become a popular tourist destination.

The Enchanted Forest.

“The Enchanted Forest” is an impressive #mural in #Halle. It is located on the wall of the cardboard factory Pacapime along the Brussels-Charleroi canal.

With an area of no less than 2000 square meters, it is one of the largest murals in Europe.

The #artwork was created by the #artist collective #Treepack and tells the story of several children who dream of a #future where people and nature live again in harmony and decide to make origami animals from paper they find in an enchanted forest. To their surprise, the animals come to life.

Children from the city of Halle served as models for the figures in the artwork.

The Year Lot Longyear Became a Joshua Tree

Half the Park is After Dark. A magical winter night in Joshua Tree National Park. I love partially cloudy nights. To create this night photo, I lit the subject with a handheld LED flashlight while the camera shutter was open for a long time. So yes, this is a real single-exposure photo. And Lot Longyear is thought to be the bent figure on the cover of "Led Zeppelin IV."

Les cailloux s’étaient empressés de venir admirer le spectacle, si bien que le reflet s’en trouva quelque peu gêné. Mais personne n’osa rien dire à ce gros rocher sans savoir-vivre.
