We have not enough rain. I know that without any app. Because always, when the traditional magnolia bloom in northern Alsace, it rains a lot. The splendour often lasts only a few days.
Now we've only had grey, dry days. Wonderful to see the flowers. But bad for the drying soil.
If you connect nature's calendar with "traditional" remembered weather you can see the shift: cronenburg.net/magic/

Who are the most important world changers? Those who shout 'make XY great again' and walk over dead bodies in their greed? Or the more quiet ones who get together, let tiny seeds slip through their fingers, swap old varieties, and revitalise this important knowledge? steadyhq.com/en/naturematchcut

@EdwinG I live in the European common culture with *open* borders between France and Germany, work in a multilingual #culturalHeritage centre and try to imagine it.
It's crazy what it destroys in terms of old grown relationships and #culture. My colleagues would probably install a new door at night. 🤫
I have the utmost respect for the people who still want to continue working together! @libraries

🌟 **Exciting Updates from Xingge Porcelain District in Taipei!** 🌟

It’s truly inspiring to see the progress on this project, especially in such a historic and culturally rich area. Xingge Porcelain District is renowned for its centuries-old tradition of exquisite porcelain craftsmanship, blending artistry 🎨 and innovation 💡 to create timeless pieces. It’s a true honor to collaborate on a project rooted in such a unique and storied industry.

While the challenges of distance 🌍 and time zones ⏰ can be a bit frustrating (I’d love to walk through the district more often!), I’m incredibly grateful for the seamless collaboration with my talented producer, Bluedragonart 🐉. Their professionalism and dedication make everything possible, and I’m thrilled to be part of this journey.

Here’s to creating something beautiful, no matter the miles in between! 💪✨

🧵 My first school class experience in our #farmLife #museum in Alsace, France (beside an art workshop): I was a pupil (and auxiliary force) for my colleagues who teached #children how to make butter and how to write with 19th century dip pens. I accompanied them to find out if I want to teach that later, too, and how. My colleagues are ex-teachers, I worked only with adults throughout my life. Some impressions.

#Ukrainian writer Andriy Kurkov about #writers, #culture, and war: kyivpost.com/opinion/47690
"The results of the war can also be calculated in the number of destroyed libraries, theatres, universities, schools, printing houses, film studios and museums.
During a war, the aggressor totally undermines the victims’ right to culture, to shelter, to life. Sometimes it seems that culture has become the aggressor’s main target..."
