In a collaborative museology initiative, the #InDigit project team, coordinated by Rodrigo Lacerda and Elisabete Pereira, organised a workshop at the National Museum of Ethnology with Kanawayuri Marcello Kamaiurá and Auakamu Kamayurá, from the #Kamayurá indigenous people (Alto Xingu, Brazil).

We have not enough rain. I know that without any app. Because always, when the traditional magnolia bloom in northern Alsace, it rains a lot. The splendour often lasts only a few days.

@animalculum It's interesting that "bloody snow" is an important topic in old lore, Christian legends of Middle Ages, and cultural heritage. It would be very interesting to analyse these texts for their connection with climate history, like warming periods.
Volunteer work can be extremely varied. For example, when you have to taste a giant omelette with the museum staff because Rosalie, the museum goose, has laid unfertilised eggs. Thank you Rosalie! Well, and, erm, Kasimir!

@EdwinG I live in the European common culture with *open* borders between France and Germany, work in a multilingual #culturalHeritage centre and try to imagine it.
It's crazy what it destroys in terms of old grown relationships and #culture. My colleagues would probably install a new door at night.

My first school class experience in our #farmLife #museum in Alsace, France (beside an art workshop): I was a pupil (and auxiliary force) for my colleagues who teached #children how to make butter and how to write with 19th century dip pens. I accompanied them to find out if I want to teach that later, too, and how. My colleagues are ex-teachers, I worked only with adults throughout my life. Some impressions.

I'm nervous. Tomorrow I'll be sitting as a pupil with a school class. My colleague is teaching them how to make butter by hand (and that it comes from a cow).
