“There is no place for #antisemitism in Apolda, in #Thuringia, or anywhere in Germany,” said Mayor Mario Voigt, a member of the conservative party.

Apolda, located about 45 kilometers from Erfurt, the capital of Thuringia, is a stronghold of the far-right Alternative for Germany (#AfD) party, which secured nearly 33% of the vote in recent elections. The party achieved similar support in Apolda itself."

Two months ago, @nullagent was brutally attacked at a #protest in #Seattle. The attacker and accomplices have not been apprehended and, unsurprisingly, the legal system has done nothing to pursue the racist #lynchmob responsible.

We've raised about 10% of what we need to take this case to court. Our best chance at justice is to reach the $50k goal by the end of the year.

As someone pointed out elsewhere, this claim by the government that there was "a lack of consensus" about the hate speech elements of this Bill is baseless, since it had already passed through the Dáil.

Also: "'There wasn’t consensus' is such a cop out - a blatant capitulation to racists and the more genteel types (including in the Seanad) that just do the 'how many genders' transphobia"
