…Or that this would ever be deemed worthy of TV. As I’m SURE they’re not actually sharing the content of those meetings as they’re surely intellectual property of the #nfl teams. (Sound is off in favor of march madness, so no idea what they’re saying.)

Ok, the #NFL network is on in front of me at a bar and I’m kinda laughing my butt off. It’s 90% watching coaches standing in front of PowerPoint to a room full of desks with players.

Like I get it, to meeting is human, but somehow I didn’t imagine this as the way Pro football players spend their off season. 🤣

Chris Kluwe, a former Minnesota Vikings NFL player, was arrested yesterday for protesting against Huntington Beach City Council's decision to allow the California city's library to display a plaque spelling out the word "MAGA." Kluwe spoke at a public meeting, describing MAGA ideology as "profoundly corrupt, unmistakably anti-democracy and most importantly...explicitly a Nazi movement." After taking a few steps toward the council dais he was arrested, carried from the room and taken to city jail where he was given a misdemeanor citation for disturbing an assembly. Here's NBC's story about the episode. Kluwe later told @LATimes: "I have the responsibility to step up and do something ... That's what I also hope to see from other people who enjoy that position of privilege and power ... that they take this example and say, 'You know what? I can do that too. I can help protect the oppressed.' Because it shouldn't be on the people who are being oppressed to fight by themselves."

Former NFL player Chris Kluwe arrested after attacking ‘corrupt’ MAGA

“MAGA is profoundly corrupt, unmistakably anti-democracy and most importantly, MAGA is explicitly a Nazi movement,” Kluwe, who was part of the Minnesota Vikings, said. “You may have replaced a swastika with a red hat, but that’s what it is.”

There were cheers, laughter and applause for Kluwe’s words while one person told him to “get the heck out”. He was handcuffed...

I love how in the highest tier of American football, if you’re winning the championship game, you don’t even need to play the last minute and a half and you can just walk around high-fiving.

The media is literally on the field while the game clock is still running as a formality.

They have cases and cases of “Champions” swag printed for both teams, but they destroy the stuff for the losing team.

The NFL is just absurd lol. #nfl #superbowl
