Have you explored psychedelics as a tool for self-healing or personal growth?

How do you prepare San Pedro? 
First, the cactus is sliced. You get star shaped slices. The shape varies depending on the number of ribs and the size of the cactus.
The tip of the cactus is usually kept to grow another plant, by simply placing it on a fresh soil.
I didn't have a photo of this step, and I found this one on Wikimedia Commons.
I'm gonna list out my interests, and there's a ton of 'em. Classic autism move, getting obsessed with weird topics that stick with you forever.

In this close-up photo, you can see that San Pedro cacti have 6 to 8 ribs. The plant grows more ribs as it gets bigger. Of course the symbolic of the number of ribs can be of importance during ceremonies. I heard some have as many as 13, 17...!
Notice also the nice green-blue colour.

It's a plant medicine that is very dear to me because of its capacity to open your heart.
It grows in the mountain regions of the Andes, especially in Ecuador, Peru and Colombia.
