One odd phenomenon in captioned media is censored captions on uncensored audio. For example: this #RageAgainstTheMachine video on the official #RATM YouTube, which captioned the audible word "shit" as "(censored)".

This weird bit of #ableism happens more often than you'd think, not only on web videos but on mainstream TV. It's as though the standards-bearers have decided that those with #accessibility requirements can't handle the experience of grownup swears as well as the rest of us.
