The Wild Robot is such a delightful film. Of course it was created by Chris Sanders, of Lilo & Stitch, which ranks as one of my top animated films of all time. While it doesn’t have those lush handmade watercolour backgrounds, it does have a lovely painting style which brings the forest and characters to life. And the otters are frankly adorable.

Off to see #TheWildRobot largely off the back that it has #KitConnor in it, and despite the fact it’s animated so you can’t see him, and he’s doing a dodgy American accent so you can’t really hear him either. I think I should probably have spent the ticket price on therapy instead.

I watched The Wild Robot, it practically had everyone crying and is visually stunning. Definitely entered by top 10 movies and I can’t wait to rewatch to pause certain frames and just stare at the background art.

I'm not sure what #theWildRobot is supposed to teach; that carnivores can live together with herbies and not eat them?

Caught #TheWildRobot and in all honesty, this movie left me speechless. I was in awe of its splendour, its design, its animation... its just an amazing movie that, for me, is the best animated feature this year.
