I’ve always had a thing for trolleys, probably a result of riding the route 23 streetcar down Germantown Avenue in Philadelphia in my youth. Sadly, SEPTA discontinued that trolley service and ripped up some of the tracks.
I know I have already said that frequently, but #Johannesburg has so many impressive #museum|s.
If you are into #cars, #HorseCarriage|s, #Tram|s, the first #SouthAfrica|n #ElectricCar (prototypes of the #Joule already existed when #Tesla wasn’t a thing yet) or other modes of #transport, the #JamesHallMuseumOfTransport is a must see.
Many of the exhibits are in an excellent condition, too.

Route 32 was one of a handful of weekday peak hours routes from William St to the south-eastern suburbs. Most trams from these destinations run along Swanston St, but these peak hour services brought commuters to the western end of the city along William St.

questa mi pare una proposta interessante: del resto via Ottaviano così com'è va benissimo, farci passare il tram si può fare ma non è il massimo.
in altre città il tram convive col pedonale ma a roma (e per di più in una strada di flusso turistico) non ce lo vedo

Die #KN macht weiter mit ihrem Kampf gegen die #Stadtbahn in #Kiel. Die drei Mann Gruppe gegen die Stadtbahn bekommt eine Seite in der KN und hat Fragen an die Stadt eingereicht. Am 21.11. ab 16:00 muss die Stadt diese in der Ratsversammlung beantworten.
Ach ja und die CDU lädt am Freitag 22.11. um 18:00 in die Herman Ehlers Akademie ein. Kommt gerne vorbei. Wäre schlimm wenn dort die Öffi-Sabotier-Gruppe keinen Widerstand erfährt.
