@weezmgk years ago I used to work as a renewable energy technician and I can confirm that this is the most absolutely cursed shit i have ever seen. what. what the hell.

every other grid tie inverter/charger I've ever seen puts out 60.0 hz derived off a crystal controlled clock; they have other means of detecting if for some reason AC mains has been connected to the wrong side of the AC power isolation relay.

The plot thickens! Al1c3 returned the curse. With these glow in the dark (!!!!) horses. Goodness.
This is intricate work also, there is adhesive and tiny dots involved (“diamonds” according to them).
What sort of creative process do these companies go through to make these? Were they thinking? Clearly it works on some fools (yes, it me, im a fool).
What other nobody-wants-this-but-i-gotta-do-this things are out there?

Square box of a DIY-kit called “Diamond Painting Canvas”. In the center there is an image of the final result, the heads of two “smiling” brown horses appear up to their neck, a baby horse on the left and an adult on the right. The background is blurred but seems like a dry pasture. The horses are very shiny, due to the “diamonds” used in this kit. There is a circle that announces “Glow in the dark”, and another circle shows the image of baby horse as glow in the dark; it’s a black background and a bright green silhouette of baby horse. Looks rather scary, not smiley anymore :D

I got a #cursed DIY kit from the sale section of a craft store.
The task is to pin sequins onto the piglet picture, with the worst possible sequin-distribution. You can’t make it better because the picture has specific indicators for each sequin. It can only forever be worse.
Also when they say “needles” they mean nails.
Cursed but perfect.

I should have gotten all 4 of them Babes. But i only got one for a friend who will love it for the same reasons I do.

A DIY kit box in green, called “Sequin Art Set”. In the center, the final result of the shining artpiece is shown. It is the picture of a piglet looking straight at you, and has a lot of sequins all over its snout, which spread oddly across the face, ears, and one particular hoof.

Did you know we've all likely dropped an 'N' word in our life time (Especially UK folk), and no this isn't like a racist remark or anything, it's all unintentional. This is because we have a flawed language. And since noticing this, I haven't been able to unnotice it. Maybe bring this up with a Dictionary/noun authority.

I'll give you some hints as to what this word is.

Hint: It's a condiment.

Hint: It's often made with acids (or Fruit/Barley)

If you guessed, ketchup, then no. You're wrong. It's actually Vinegar.

But I absolutely hate this word because when you say it, it sounds like something else... and sure, it could be just the pronunciation being a problem, starting with "ni" instead of "nee"

My only two solutions to this is either to call it acid condiment.
"Honey, can you pass me the acid please?"

Or

Rename it to the same thing but from another language.

this is simultaneously funny but disturbing and cursed.

Yes, that's right. This python code is assembling a member function name from a string field of a dict, checking if the function exists on the class, then calling it with another field from the dict.

@marcan Well, #ZFS and #Ceph have entirely different use-cases and original designs.

  • Ceph, like #HAMMER & #HAMMER2 was specifically designed to be a #cluster #filesystem, whereas ZFS & #btrfs are designed for single-device, local storage options.

  • OFC I did see and even setup some "cursed" stuff like Ceph on ZFS myself, and yes, that is a real deployment run by a real corporation in production...
