Today’s #throwbackthursday is this drawing that I made to commemorate the year 2015. At the time, I had just recently gotten a new laptop and had started doing digital art again after a hiatus. 2015 was also probably the last new year that I felt genuinely optimistic about (with maybe a possible exception for 2021). Maybe one day I’ll feel happy to celebrate new years again, hopefully…

Art made to commemorate the year 2015. The year is shown at the top and centre of the drawing, and there is an assortment of characters to both the left and right of the image. The left side features some of my favourite characters from my favourite series, including Sonic the Hedgehog, a chao, Rainbow Dash, Dororo, and a Zorua. The right side features my own characters based off of the series on the left, including Zipo the Chao, an older design of my pony OC, Zepopo, and Zipora. My main persona character is an anomaly on this side. The background mostly consists of the colours yellow and orange.
