Just found a shot of Trump flying out of Washington on Biden’s Inaugaration!! Now this is encouraging. We want that feeling again, man the relief was overwhelming.

Remember how much of a satisfying experience it was to see him have to actually GO? And we’d been socially brutalized as a nation two weeks prior. January 6th will be regarded as a stunningly treasonous, violent assault on democracy.
So watching that tacky plane remove him from Washington was exhilarating.

I've been a Mets fan since they started in 1962, saw one game at the Polo Grounds in their first two seasons, was at the first game they ever won at Shea, was at Game 4 of the 1969 "Miracle Mets" World Series (and had a ticket to Game 6 in 2000, but the Yankees won it in five…). I've rarely watched any game like the first game of today's doubleheader against Atlanta, with the exceptions of games 6 of the 1986 NLCS (too often forgotten, given the World Series) and World Series.
