"On March 20, anarchists and other protesters held simultaneous demonstrations in at least 19 cities in Indonesia in response to the Indonesian Parliament enacting the revised Indonesian National Armed Forces Bill (UU TNI), which paves the way for a return to the authoritarianism of the military dictatorship under Suharto. The protesters confronted extreme police repression in the streets.

These events are part of the same wave of authoritarianism that is sweeping the world. All of our struggles are interlinked.

Es war vollkommen absehbar, dass die Neoliberalen unter dem Vorwand des Kampfes gegen "Hass und Hetze" zur offenen #Zensur übergehen, um die Auflehnung gegen die Ungerechtigkeiten ihres Systems oder auch nur die Verbreitung von Bildern der von ihnen verursachten Zustände zu unterdrücken.

Nun kündigte der EU-Digitalkommissar Thierry #Breton im Fernsehen an, dass die EU mit dem "Digital Service Act" ab dem 25. August durchgreifen will, um auch Aufrufe zu Aufständen im Internet zensieren zu lassen und ihre Veröffentlichung gegebenenfalls unter Strafe zu stellen.

Damit stellt sich die EU-Kommission mit dem #DSA direkt hinter das Regime von Präsident #Macron und dessen rassistischen Polizeiapparat.

Der französische Machthaber drohte erst kürzlich wieder eine Internetzensur zur Unterdrückung von Protesten und Aufständen in Frankreich an, als nach der Ermordung des Jugendlichen #Nahel durch einen Polizisten in #Nanterre Aufstände ausbrachen und sich landesweit Menschen, vor allem aus den Banlieues, den Aufständen anschlossen.
