Malik Yoba a Black Actor/Entrepreneur has a genius idea given all the assaults on DEI for words like Black, Indigenous, POC, etc. He’s simply calling himself, “Non-White”. So guess what, for Queer & Trans people, we’re now, “Non-CisHet”. Seems to me to be a way to circumvent the assaults on standard DEI language. This past Friday March 21st, a beloved NOLA community member Xeena was issued a 5 day order to vacate from her home.

We are urgently trying to raise another $4,000 over the next 4 days to avoid an eviction. You can give at the link below!

The very hopeful news is that there is a path forward for Xeena to get rental assistance. This would be so major and amazing and awesome! However in order for that to happen all of the back rent has to be paid so that a new lease can be issued for the process to move forward.

We can collectively help a Black disabled trans femme stay in her house. This is a matter of survival, of living or dying, of safety - please support if you can. And please spread the word!

She makes $75k and is WA State Social Worker and is homeless herself.

That same CEO claiming love is only love between a man and woman. That same CEO saying, both LGBTQ+ and trans folk suffer from mental illness. Furthermore, claiming that COVID was a hoax, vaccines kill people, and is a firm, Donald Trump supporter.

You probably think, I am talking about Elon Musk, and you likely support the idea of Tesla going bankrupt, as not to support a Nazi. But who I am actually describing is Brendan Eich, the founder and CEO of Brave Browser, but when you tell people that is the case, people will argue "that is different". 🙄

Update on this story. Residents have formed an armed anti-fascist community watch program. Folks say the KKK and other neo-nazi groups continue to target the are with threatening fliers and online intimidation.

Meanwhile local prosecutors say they are now investigating the initial armed neo-Nazi march.
