I got some flack about a question: What is the UN still good for. ?
The UN is made into a paper tiger.
Take the current biggest imperialistic dictator/warmongers of our time: Putin and Netanyahu.
Both put brutal force against the lethargic UN, and are comfortable ignoring it.
Both disregard international treaties like warcrimes and international recignized borders.
They can do so because the US and EU have been using the UN for their own benefit. And countries in Africa or India were ignored or wronged. Those countries have lost faith in a global solution to peace.
