To do nothing.
To allow yourself to be bored.
To let socializing wait.
To ignore your to-do list.
To tell yourself over and over again:
'I am not doing nothing I am resting. Resting IS a verb, and it is the thing I most need to do right now."

One of the best advice I have heard for ADHD people whom resting can be a challenge:
Self care can also be giving yourself a Win.
Do something that makes you feel like you have done a tiny accomplishment. No pressure, complete something tiny. It can be putting an item aside, cleaning a table, sortin a pile...or bigger stuff like dishes, or working on a project.
My daily checklist always has at least one win to keep my brain happy.

Bad times need #beauty and #colours. I started a notebook only for doodling because #meditation is too boring for me. It helps me to calm down after reading the news, to shift my perspective.

Yesterday I started a new project: a textile #scrollBook, something like an #artBook as a #scroll.
The photo shows my work to find a collage composition. When I'm satisfied with that sample, I'll fix the pieces with wild #embroidery. Later I'll "write" with #stitches. More info: alt text!
