#supremacy

I've come to understand that my main motivation to keep going at the moment is very simple: #spite.

I'm weird. Like really fucking weird. I'm #AuDHD. I'm queer. I'm also #plural (meaning it's not just me in my own fucking head). I'm weird. Like really fucking weird.

And you know what? That's *okay*. It's okay to be weird. Who is even the judge of that? Is there a "weird police"? It's being made illegal in parts of the world to be weird, but by whom? White old men.

Fuck them. Fuck them sideways. Fuck them all the ways. Fuck them. I'm very fucking weird by society's standards *and that is okay*. -Vox

UN expert Francesca Albanese spoke to the UN Palestinian Rights Committee on 31 October 2024. She called on all States to examine their relationships and avoid being #complicit in the crime of genocide being committed by Israel on the Palestinian people in Gaza. 🧵

Ta-Nehisi Coates speaking with Peter Beinart about his time visiting the Occupied West Bank:

“Israel is not a democracy. I thought I was gonna go over there and see some really morally complex stuff, but I didn’t. I mean, it was so obviously immoral. It’s blatantly immoral.”

"There's something dark here beyond Israel itself that I think is really, really hard to face."

Do you stand with #Palestine and #Lebanon against Zionist #barbarism and #boycott Mark #Zuckerberg's platforms, e.g. #Facebook, #Instagram and #WhatsApp, over it? If so, good. But you use Eugen #Rochko's #Mastodon or even have an account on mastodon.social, mastodon.online or any other Zionist operated #Fediverse instance or casually interact with their clients? In this case, there's much room to improve:

#Gargron must die‼️ #GargronMustDie

Zionist and pro-Zionist instances, even those who 'tolerate' Zionists and #Hasbara, must be blocked. Leave those #fascists to themselves and help creating a human rights oriented network where their cultist #supremacy and genocidal ways have no place!

#Zionism is the most dangerous (and widespread) #cult of our time❗

Anyone who refuses to publicly state: "I reject Zionism," must not be part of our lives. Check who you're dealing with on the Zionism infested Fediverse and fight the Zionists — or leave. #Ignorance is #complicity!

Zionism is #barbarism. End ' #Israel ' now‼️ @palestine

"Thousands of children were killed? It’s the enemy’s fault. Our own children were killed? That is certainly the enemy’s fault. If Hamas carry out a massacre in a kibbutz, they are Nazis. If we drop 2,000-pound bombs on refugee shelters and kill hundreds of civilians, it’s Hamas’s fault for hiding close to these shelters. After what they did to us, we have no choice but to root them out. After what we did to them, we can only imagine what they would do to us if we don’t destroy them. We simply have no choice."

"Unlike the majority of @israel -is these young people had seen the destruction of #Gaza with their own eyes. It seemed to me that they had not only internalised a particular view that has become commonplace in Israel – namely, that the destruction of Gaza as such was a legitimate response to 7 October – but had also developed a way of thinking that I had observed many years ago when studying the conduct, worldview and self-perception of German army soldiers in the second world war. Having internalised certain views of the enemy – the Bolsheviks as Untermenschen; Hamas as human animals – and of the wider population as less than human and undeserving of rights, soldiers observing or perpetrating atrocities tend to ascribe them not to their own military, or to themselves, but to the enemy."

Omer Bartov wrote about the need of Jewish Israelis to believe in their national morality and to nourish #victimhood: 🧶

"This is the logic of endless violence, a logic that allows one to destroy entire populations and to feel totally justified in doing so. It is a logic of victimhood – we must kill them before they kill us, as they did before – and nothing empowers violence more than a righteous sense of victimhood."

"Of course, one day the indentured period would end and the servant would be free. That is one of the fundamental differences drawn between white indentured servitude and black slavery. One was a temporary condition; the other was perpetual. Except that huge numbers of white servants didn’t live to see the day of freedom. In the early days, the majority of servants died still in bondage. Moreover, the bulk of those who did outlive their servitude ended up no better than when they’d arrived. They would emerge from bondage landless and poor (p. 111)."
