as we all know, the trunk of great tree is traditionally known as the bole.

And therefore, the trunk of a tree which grows in hyperspace, is a hyperbole.

And Yggdrasil, the greatest hyperbole of them all.

This #ThickTrunkThursday tree with hops growing in its branches caught my eye at a local farm; its fern-like leaves intrigued me. Per one of the farm owners:
“It’s a Dawn Redwood. We adore that tree. The species was thought to be extinct for millions of years but was found in China in the 1940s & conservation efforts brought it back from the brink of extinction. It’s a deciduous ‘evergreen’ that loses its leaves every winter.”
